the mood now is sooo wayyyy down. i have no mood for anything but whine. i am supposed to have started on assignments now but i just can't bring myself to do it!! and it has to rain the night before our great phototaking trip.
i am aching all over. shoulders neck and back. should i find some acupunturist again like the one i had in hk? it helped somehow then... i feel like i'm aging. and the worst thing is -- tomato week is near! (>.<) my back is already aching and during this period of the month the pain gets worst. my bag is so freaking heavy. all those jap books.
i am bringing a backpack to sch tmr. i don't care.

workload is coming!! arghh...
there's work for all subjects and even jap! deadlines deadlines deadlines they are all coming to town! the stress is making me lame (. _.)"
went to the singapore footcare centre to see what's wrong with my feet. there's been some dry itchy patches and are really irritating. so it turned out to be fungus. the podiatrist said it was mild so some anti fungal cream will work. the podiatrist did some sanding of my dry skin. it was soooo itchy!!! the equipment he used looked like the dentist's drill. and the sanding disc is just like a round piece of sand paper. i couldn't stop laughing from the itch but couldn't possibly kick the podiatrist's face ya so i tried so so so hard to contain myself. and mum got to drag sis in at that moment to enjoy the show (-_-)"
podiatrist sounds very professional doesn't it? that's why i kept using it rather than calling the podiatrist 'him' (^o^)

it's another cold cold day. the temperature now is 25.4 degrees - indoors!! it must be even lower outside. the rain poured and drizzled ever since i woke up [and that is around 6.45AM!].
the tap water this morning was freezing cold ""(~.~)" it totally froze my face when i was washing up. and the water is still as cold now. winter is here! winter is here!
did some photgraphy today. but couldn't take good photos though since the sun is no where in sight. the lighting was BAD. gloomy gloomy day but i'm very hyper and happy~
i'm learning how to write 'turtle' in traditional chinese/japanese kanji.

it's a lazy afternoon, the sky all cloudy and dull with the wind blowing right into my face and messing up my hair. the wind was sooo freakin' cold that i thought it must have been at least 20 degrees. so it turned out to be 26.2 degrees, even the fishtank is at 27 degrees now [for those who don't know, my fish live a better life than me with air-con all day long]. finally a feeling of winter. the christmasy season with lots of rain (-_-)"

ooo~ those royce chocolates are heavenly.. (^3^) i bought the mild cacao box. purposely got the semi-sweet one cos i can eat many at one go!! the sweet sweet chocs are usually very sweet and you get sick of them very fast. i think i'll get the cube mint choclate next time. i love mint chocs~
me and sis was talking about that royce storefront at suntec and how we thought it sold cars, pots and pans, wine and cheese etc.. funny isn't it. the name is like rolce royce [issit how to spell it??] and the stuff is like so silvery inside so pots and pans. and somehow i had an impression those boxes were cheese (-_-)" anyway, those chocs are really worth trying. and they're kinda cheap too (^.^)
calling out to all cantonese speaking/listening people!!! tune in to fm903 - strongly recommended by me!! the radio station which i've been listening to in hk. the best show is 'i love you boyz' every mon-fri 4-6pm. other shows are ok, the commercials are cho cho funny!!

purple potatoes

we ate purple potatoes this evening! it's not normal potatoes, it's purple!!
the purple was sooo purple! i was cutting them this afternoon and they look so disgusting. the purple wasn't like the whole thing but like that of a blue rose. there's parts still with the potato whitish-yellow. and the purple was especially dark around the buds. and then i soaked them in water and the colour ran!! just like if you wash a dark purple shirt. the water was still purplish after a second soak. so i soaked them for like half an hour. the purple finally remained inside the potato chunks and i dumped them into the soup pot with the other stuffs...
when i came back for dinner, the purple was almost all gone!! but strangely, the soup wasn't purple. it just disappeared. hmmm....
went swimming with mel after jap today. first time going swimming with her. she is my first friend to see me in swimsuit!! (.^-^.) we'll go swimming every thurs. hopefully... hahah~
i was damn hungry after the swim. i ate only a can of the 'chunky' campbell soup for the whole day! after dinner, i'm still a little hungry now...

my new layout is up!! pretty??
i spent like 5 hours on it... really really satisfied with this layout~ (^o^)
the theme is elegant gothic lolita. a bit dark but feminine.
it might not really coorespond with my posts cos i have very little sad/dark entries. the stuffs here is mainly happy i guess (. _.) but i really like it!!
this layout will stay for quite a while~
left out something abt yesterday...
i tried natto at sakae sushi. i've been wanting to try it for very very long. now all i can say is that i'm happy that i tried it but i won't try it again. i'll stick to miso.

but then it wasn't as bad as i thought. i expected it to smell like really really bad. but the smell was ok. it had some funny taste but tolerable. and i think the chef forgot to add seasoning. (-_-)" it was so bland! and it is really slimey, more slimey than i thought.
anyway, it's good that i tried such a thing. and me not liking it proves that i am no japanese...

today was arlene day!! hahah.. spent half the day laughing with her, of cos the other half was school (-_-) i had a really really extremely fabulous time with her. it has been sucha very long time since i felt so happy and very 'myself'. as in really letting loose and saying everything and anything that i thought of - good stuffs, bad stuffs and mainly nonsense stuff. whahah~
we shopped a bit at marina, dear arlene bought my 'burst'day pressie [which i chose (^.^)] a nice orange and white bag and also a black flower brooch. the brooch will be ideal for my gothic lolita stuffs later. anyway we then walked and walked till 3.15pm for sushi buffet at sakae! the other customers would have thought we were crazy. we just kept laughing ever since we stepped in.. actually we were laughing since we met at the mrt. anyway in sakae, we tried to click on the other empty tables' mouse to order stuff. but mission failed. baa... arlene almost succeeded but she forgot to click the confirm button for the order basket!! hahahah~ we ate till we were sooo stuffed and left at ard 5.45pm. [the buffet was 3-6pm btw (6.6)] oh and there's a cute waiter there~ (o.o) he's just started working there i think. the manager bullied him!!
went to suntec for movie after that. 'just like heaven' was really sweet!
arlene bought a bag and i found lots and lots of capsule station!!! i finally got the pooh thing that i saw yesterday at cineplex!!! actually i got tigger at first then arlene persuaded me to turn another time. but it turned out to be eeyore. we opened them at this kiddy plastic table at the kids' play area beside the capsule stations. and this woman suddenly came forward and asked if i was short of any. so i told her i actually just turned twiced and i turned it just for pooh. and she told me she was short of eeyore and only eeyore. she then brought up like 4 or 5 other 'balls' and she had pooh!! immediately i asked if she wanted to exchange. and ta-da!!! yay~ \(^o^)/ how lucky can i get?!
we didn't eat dinner so i'm now muching down a whole punnet of strawberries. i am really on a diet. must perservere! ganbarimasu~
and oh, we saw alan at city hall mrt. what a coincidence (-_-)
the being 'myself' thing...
actually i am really enjoying poly and all the friends there now but somehow, i just can't really be 'myself'. it's not that i'm unnatural with poly friends. but just not so natural like with arlene they all. in school i'm usually quiet and that is totally not the normal me. but somehow i can't bring out that noisy side of me in school. it used to be so in secondary school. and it's the same now. i can't seem to overcome this difficultly over all these years. it's so hard for me to be 'me'.
but whenever i'm with a noisy or very lame/nonsensical person, i tend to be more 'myself'. like arlene and mel, they really helped bring out the real side of me.
it's a strange thing isn't it?

i should have insisted on having different group members yesterday after mm prin lecture. my group consists of mel, huimin, eudora and huiling. it's not that i don't wanna work with them, but all of us [except huiling] have been in the same group last sem! i love my group members but it'll be better if we could work with different people this time around. i wanna work with other people too. different people have different ways of working and i want to go through that.
anyway it's all too late now. no point complaining. i can only regret for being so soft yesterday.
went swimming yesterday! finally got the determination to go down on my own. swam 16 laps [the width of cos (^.^)"] it's my first time going swimming on my own. kinda lonely but because i'm alone, i swam more. really gotta go swimming more often na... i want my scoliosis [what's the spelling??] to recover!!
and my back is aching now because of this. (-_-)" symptoms of ageing and sickness.

went to meet mum at the hawker centre at bedok interchange after school. on the way there, i saw a dead pigeon lying on the grass near our home. bird flu has struck singapore! hahaha lame (-_-)"" anyway it wasn't a good sight.
had my birthday steamboat tonight instead. since mum was on leave today and she'll be working till 6 tmr, it seemed more reasonable to have it today. bought the steamboat stuff from isetan supermarket at shaw. bought kurobuta shabu shabu, yummy yummy!! it's my first time eating kurobuta, it really tastes better than normal pork! [of cos a bit more expensive too (. _.)] everything tasted better tonight~ (^.^)
actually intended to get the green tea cake from the bakery at shaw but after trying a slice, we thought it was so-so. in the end we bought the exotic banana cake from swiss bake and also a matcha roll from rive gauche. oishii (^o^)
going town to have lunch with class friends tmr before school at 4pm. first jap lesson desuyo~ tanoshi na... hopefully the class will be good. and even better if there's someone i know there.

kyo wa first day of year 1 sem 2 desu. happy desu (^_^) there's no school tmr!! yokata na~ (^.^)v because it's all lab and tutorial lessons tomorrow, there'll not be lessons cos it's the first week!!
here's this week's timetable:
mon - persuasive communication lec [11am-1pm]
tues - nande mo nai [nothing]
wed- photo lecture [11am-1pm]
thurs (my birthday!!!) - japanese tutorial [2-4pm]
fri - journalism lec [11am-1pm] japanese lec [3-4pm]
good ne~ the timetable for this sem is really good even though the cds [jap] time slots are kind of yucky. there's a two hour break between normal lessons and jap for both lec day and tutorial day. baa....
went walk walk at bugis today with mel~ i saw a cho cho cho kireii gothic lolita dress!!! kya~~~ a black one-piece with red/orange small flower designs. of cos there's lace and bows/ribbons [whatever those are] and the sleeve is the big kind! how do you say it? the kind of sleeves that flutters at your wrists. very very very pretty!! i tried it on and it's sooo hard to wear. [it's not that i'm oversized or the dress is under-sized!!] the dress is really fitting so it's a bit hard for the stomach area of the dress to slip past my chest, if you understand what i mean. so i got to struggle to wear it and to take it off. but it's really soooo sooo pretty!!! i'm going back there tmr to show sis and mum the dress! mum actually thought of buying it for my birthday you know~ ureshi!! (^o^) it's a miracle ne~ having such a shop in singapore. there's another shop that sells cosplay-ish gothic lolita kind of clothes in bugis. seems like more and more people are getting into that kind of visual kei ne~ yokata na~ ^^ let me say this one more time.. the dress is really absolutely gorgeous!!! kya~~

gackt's gonna be an important character in dirge of cerberus - final fantasy VII. his outfit for that character's really nice! and he'll be doing two songs for it. the single will only be out on jan 26. what a long wait na~~ (>.<)"" in the press conference a few days ago, he appear with such a hair... @%*&#
wth... O.o gackt what's wrong with you??!!! argghhhh~ this hair is the most disgusting one i've ever seen on you!! cornrows with curls?! where has your fashion sense gone to??! (*A*) this two can never match and the colour is so obviously different. if you wanna add on some ugly strands of wig, it can at least be the same colour~!! the curls are a total total mistake. but the cornrows are really cool. (^.^) gackt looks really powdered too ne... but powder's absolutely fine, it's the terrible hair!!! urgh. here's him in his normal hair. kinda recent - 26 oct. he was on hfm that day. there's a clip of him on their web. kakkoi desu ne~ 
it's really strange. my number one favourite artiste/group is definitely kame and kattun. but i seldom write about them ne. rather i already have a few entries on gackt! gackkun is a really charming man and the way he thinks is very special. he is like a kid sometimes [eg. his challenge for this summer was 'curry eating contest' (^^)"] but he is very serious when working and playing. and the story he wanna make is so mysterious [cos he has been doing it since god-knows-when -_-"] and the time era thing in this long story is really cool. his cool looks and humor is so mismatched! well, he is a very unpredictable man. this basically sums up the whole thing. [just another something: if someone calls out to gakkun in the middle of the street, he will go up and kiss the person!! kya~~ (^0^)]
i've been thinking of working for him too. [as a backstage crew or something] it's just dreaming but it'll be really enjoyable working with him ne. the way he treat his family [his staff] and also working by his way of thinking. there must be tons to learn from such a talented man with such great ambitions and accomplishments. it makes me think that working with him will change me or anyone's perception of life altogether. his perception and thinking of life and many other things are really worthy to learn from, in my opinion that is.
i can go on and on about gackt-san. i'll stop here now. continue tomorrow or something. [don't think u can get away from my gackt crapping ^^]

parts of it had alot of jap script at the bottom where the chinese subtitles are. so the chinese subs for those parts are really hard to read. with my standard of chinese... i don't understand those parts at all!! cos subs are in traditional chinese and appear for such a short time, it is very very difficult to understand with so much distraction at the back... i'll be watching it again soon i guess. maybe. i still have anego desuyo~ (^.^)v and probably during my next term break [around new year] nobuta o produce will come out!! yatta`!! just talking about it makes me excited!!
school's gonna start in four days' time ne. chotto kanashi. not that i don't look forward to seeing my friends and new class, but i don't want holidays to end!! and i miss hongkong alot. after that trip, i've became really fond of hk. although the buildings there are so tall and cluttered, the convenience in it is incredible. and also because of those buildings, little sun gets through and my skin became fairer too!! demo a few days after i returned, it was back to the original state (-_-)" hk is tons more interesting that singapore and the people there are in a way, more close to me than those here. the people i'm referring to is those strangers on the streets. it's the language i suppose. cantonese is still the language i'm most familiar with and feel really at home speaking it. baa... homesick. wth.
