Today first cos I am so excited!!
Well, this morning really didn't go well but after lunch everything became fine so I don't wanna talk about last night nor this morning. Anyways, dad and i went to tampines in search for things to buy. We bought a SEWING MACHINE!! And because I'm such a fast learner *shy* I decided to sew an art smock for kids! It was back breaking work, really. 4 hours straight cutting and sewing and unpicking and sewing and getting frustrated at the machine... but tada!!!

Today was great, with the trip to the zoo and then playing at the hideout and late dinner at 85 market. But it was a totally different story after we got home, well much later into the night actually. Mum started to scream her head off at us for some unreasonable and trival matters and that really pissed me off so badly. Hey, you can't handle your stress doesn't mean that you can take it out on us as though you so rightfully can. Seriously, I think she is the cause of almost all of the unhappiness in our house recently. I can't stand it.
I don't want to think of those right now. I only want to be happy.
Happy issue no. 1
The interview at SMU went well last night! I was so relieved when everything was over.
Well, it was a group interview and we had to read an article and discuss in a group of 5 with 2 SMU professors. It was supposed to be like a mock up lesson thing where we can get a taste of how it'll be like at SMU and also for the professors to evaluate if we have what it takes to become a student there. I thought our discussion went rather well even though I was referred to as "the ka man" *rolls eyes*.
Then was the 500 word essay where i chose the topic 'new media'. Not easy peasy but ok enough since my past 3 years was all about the MEDIA. Really lucky that it was one of the 6 topics. I was almost tempted to right a fluff piece about 'a challenge i faced recently' but it isn't that appropriate, was it? hahah~
All in all, I am satisfied with my performance at the interview and what comes next I shall not worry about.

Joanne (PM from lucky7 project) called me last night while i was on my way to the SMU interview. She knew I was bumming around so asked if I would like to take up a documentary project doing some admin stuffs. More than glad! Although I have no idea of the content, the job scope, the pay, the working hours but at least it is related to what I want!! I've did corporate vids, film and short films before but not yet a docu! How cool is that?! I am super excited about it. I hope her friend calls soon.

Just got back, well perhaps not so 'just', from Lucky7 screening at sinema.
It's great watching something I've participated in on the big screen and see my name in the credits, just like that time for Cages.
It is really funny cos that time during Cages screening, I was 17 and the movie was rated M18. This time round, I'm 20 (well... counting by year it is >_<) and Lucky7 is rated R21. Just one year short each time and both are Tania's projects! What a cute coincidence. And there will only be once of such a coincidence in an entire lifetime cos I only get to be 17 or 20 and at the same time also attend a film screening just ONCE in my whole life!! And the max rating is R21!
They had these little cards stuck underneath the seats and we (sis and i) were lucky enough to get a poster!!! I want the washing machine please. LOL.
Ok, the most important part of the screening. THE FILM. It was totally abstract I was so confused. Thank goodness for segement 6. But it was really interesting how each director interpreted their one minute of material from the previous one. And there was one about the Board of film censors! CUT! And there was so much sex! Well, what to expect for a R21 yea?
OMG tomorrow's the big day!! Interview at SMU!

Woke up late (as in 2PM late), ate leftover tiramisu from yesterday which was sooo damn good, gotten ready all the scholarship and smu interview stuff, sitting around nothing to do so i decided to make lunch!

Sis' 21st birthday today so we went down to MA MAISON bugis for dinner. Really lovely place, great ambience and good food (and cute waiter XD). Didn't know that there's such a nice cosy restuarant at bugis junction. And yay it's ladies night every monday so there's 20% off.
We started with a caesar salad which was so much better than the greens at botak jones (like duh, but i just want to say that botak jones is really really too overstated. the food there is totally nothing to shout about.) Ma maison had ice cold salad plates too!!
Another of our appetiser was ESCARGOT!!! NICEEEE~~ but they didnt come with mashed potatoes but the flame thing under the escargot plate was so cool.
Her first (and most probably her last) escargot in her 21 years!!!!
Hamburg is a must at ma maison. It is like the most typical japanese western dish. This is their 250g serving, there's also 160g and a bigger one.
TONKATSU!! I dunno why but I just have to order this wherever i go. It's my all time favourite jap dish cos I adore tonkatsu sauce!! This was better than romankan (at taka) but still, tomton is the best!!
Isn't this gorgeous??! It's a table number key which you take to the cashier for billing. The whole ambience and this antique-ish heavy metal key compliment each other so perfectly!!
Then it was dessert!! But we chomped it down so fast I couldn't take photos!! We had cheesecake and brownie, which are both awesome. But this matcha ice cream zenzai was just as fab. It was served in an ice bowl, literally the entire bowl was made of ice!!! (O.O)
Back home was cake cutting time!!!
See that PRETTY PRETTY PINK POUCH THERE??! It's the pouch I got from agnes b on that day when tjan and i went to all the agnes b outlets at orchard!! I LOVE THAT POUCH SO SO MUCH!!! and i <3 balloons just as much!

I SO SO SO LOVE BLACK PEPPER CRAB!!!! (^o^)vSuddenly had the craving for crab so i suggested gg to east coast for seafood since sis is away celebrating gorilla's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CHYI! btw...). I wanted to cook but then got so lazy cos of the rain. So... off we went!! It's my first time eating at JUMBO east coast though. The food was not bad.. the black pepper was so spicy that my tummy is still warm 2+ hours after dinner!

And I'm back again!!!
The trip was wonderful, although there was almost no shopping done. Spending less than S$100 on shopping is definitely not considered shopping at all.
Lemme see, I only bought
- 3 bags
- 1 top
- 2 sesame street characters
- 3 belts
- 4 cardigans
- 1 ribbon ring (which i so love)
- some dvds (BUT NO JAP DORAMAS!!! *POUTS*)
See!! I didn't even get a single pair of shoes nor a reasonable number of tops!!!
Grrr.... so not fun going to china during winter/spring.
I've uploaded part of the photos on pixnet already and if i'm bored (which i anticipate will be rather soon), i'll upload the rest and maybe even some from dad's camera. Captions later though, a lil lazy now. And my arms are aching from Wii overdose (p/s. MUCH MUCH THANKS TO DESMOND FOR ALL THE WII DISCS!!!! <3)
This trip, I lost a pair of NEW socks and a torchlight. And there are still 2 swollen mosquito bites on my legs which refuse to go off and my right eye hurts terribly whenever i blink.
Not much damage as compared to my christmas trip where I lost my handphone charger and fell ill for quite a few days after I returned.
I really really hope my eye is ok, with all the scary reports of the funny germs in china and the avian flu and all...... I'm rather freaked out by the eye infection although I still will not go to the doctor.
I meant to sleep early today but somehow....... *shrugs*

I can't fall asleep even though I only had 45 minutes of shut eye in 36hours. I tried so hard sleeping ever since 12++am but a whole hour later, I got up and suddenly started writing in my OSIP scrapbook, yes, a weird and out of nowhere time to write in that little book from my loves a year ago. But I suddenly thought of so much that happened in that 6 months, the memories are still so vivid I can't believe it. I can hardly remember what I had for dinner 3 days ago and yet those memories seem so fresh.
But since sleeping is impossible, I got up to accompany sis who was still studying for her test which is gonna be in 10 hours' time. And then, comfort food time!!
I think it's my addiction for 2:30am foods that is causing my insomnia.

I craved for holidays for most of the last sem of school and yet I feel bored nowadays. Although there has been much SHOPPING and slacking around and such, something just seem missing... Such an ass aren't I? Complain when there's too much to do, complain when there's nothing to do.
Rei got me all tempted to go back to visit them in heshan again!!! @@ gahhh....
And there'll be HONG KONG!!!! Go heshan for a few days, maybe even to that chimelong theme park in panyu where we can ride the rides we didn't the other time and then down to hk for shopping!!!! HOMG so tempting!!!!
Both of them gave the green light alr on the basis that I pay for my own EVERYTHING and anything... But I am dead broke now cos live! still owes me my pay from a gazillion years ago. of which, I think they are trying to delay it as long as possible so I can forget how much they actually owe me to the extent that I would doubt they even owed me in the first place. Lemme think, they owe me like...... $200?...? See they half succeeded alr. bleh.
But like what mum said "Might as well use the money to go elsewhere" I've just been there last christmas which was just 2 months odd ago and I'll be gg to zhaoqing and guangzhou in another 11 days for a 6-day trip. Not much point right? And furthermore, summer collections are not out yet cos it's still early spring. So definitely no summer sales which is not very good...
I just trying to convince myself actually.
