I just want to whine and complain.

I'm down with flu once again and that totally suck cos I can't breathe properly and can't function normally. Now is really the time where I can die but not fall sick. It is impossible to miss just one day of school because got to find another lesson to crash for makeup lesson which is actually impossible also and even if I just don't care and miss lessons, there'll bound be other things outside lesson waiting for me to accomplish.

The house is really messy and dirty but no one wants to even help clean it up. We'll all just wear slippers and pretend that the dust and dirt is non-exsistent. But now, it's a must to clear up cos I can't possibly just let people come in and leave with asthma after that.
Sometimes I wish I can be paralysed or that my back condition would be so bad that it will not allow me to do these wretched housework at all. Sometimes it's not that I don't want to clean the house but it's just that I am so caught up with more important things. Now that broadcast journals are done I finally have time to clear up the mess. I've just swept and mopped the floor but there is still a mountain of laundry to settle and my room is basically a pig sty which looks horrid. Can we just hire a maid? Whatever happened to our part-time cleaner?

I think my back is gonna shatter anytime soon. I should seriously get some physiotherapy going during the holidays.

I wish there can be someone who can give me that boost of encouragement I need.

I wish there can be someone who cares about my back and give me a nice massage.

I wish there can be someone who will give me that pat on my back for the effort I put into things I do.

I wish there can be someone who is willing to just listen to all my whining shit and agree with me.

I wish there can be someone who can give me a great big bear hug when I feel like crap, like now.

I need a robot boyfriend.

There's only just 8 more days to the break, I just have to pull through and get that breather that I am so in need of.

I shall eat some ice cream since I'm depressed.

Willy has this thing for black magic and fuzzy wuzzy. But when he wants me to demo it, I always can't get it (>_<)

But anyways, today's BBQ was quite good. The food was GOOD!! (again... i've been having so much good food recently) Although I didnt't eat much tonight cos I think I seriously need to lose some real weight. David could cook really good chicken wings though!! And his kids are adorableeee~
In the end, it was only Aloysuis and I who went for the BBQ. It was weird at first but it became ok. Conversation just kinda flowed. Thank god. I was like panicking when I got to know that Joan was not going. So we shared a cab back after it, cos taking the bus would make our butts rot.

We (Aloysius, Joan and I) were offered an open invitation to join Livestudios for a job anytime. Wooahh~ I'm overwhelmed. Aquafire and Livestudios have both been so nice to me.
I'm so sorry that I was late for at least half an hour just now!! (Well, not that Aloysius will read this.. but I feel really bad when I'm late. Especially for so long)

First was green screen filming for MEP. It was CRAZZZYYY~ All the preparation can just drive me nuts and it didn't help at all that I reached home only at about 12am due to the dinner. I purposely had make up on, only to find that mel only needed my back view. Right.
And woooah~ I was in contacts.

Our weekend stay at the Conrad hotel! The hotel room was so spacious and comfortable~ and that bathtub~ nice!

OMG the bloody fight at the esplanade was just like a scene out of a gangster movie!! It was horrifying!! Seeing all that blood splutter onto the floor and that blood flowing profusely from that guy's head. OMG.

Finally, it's today.
Lecture as usual. Then came back and found both mum and dad sleeping cos they aren't feeling well. Anyway, I'm hungry.

I love this salad!! All that vege goodness. I think i must be a cow in my previous life.
I've added tuna for the salad today... cos we ran out of ham. NICE!!! That brown dressing is a japanese sesame dressing. Really good and LOW FAT!!

BROADCAST WAS SO FUN TODAY!!!!
Make up lessons must be the best kind of lessons to have! I love the eyeliner! It so so does wonders to my small green pea eyes. hahaha~ Only if all broadcast lessons are about makeup and grooming. After today's lesson, I got so inspired to get new makeup stuffs.
And presenting in front of the camera alone isn't so bad after all. And it's really good to be the first to present, no need to go through all that madness.

Flu + pounding headache = me.
I'm so prone to flu recently.

Photoshop CS2 couldn't activate (>_<) But the new functions are goooood~ And the program looks much nicer too!!!

Went to town today for eyebrow threading. Then went shopping alone after nad went off. Shopping is really good when it's done alone. Cos I'm so fickled minded I can stay in a shop for like at least half an hour without getting anything and go off to some other shopping places far away for perhaps another 2 hours or so then go back to that first shop and get something. If it ever makes sense. But anyhow, up till now I can't find anyone who is willing to put up with me and my shopping habit so it's best shopping alone for now.

I am so gonna complain about the HORRIBLE service at muji paragon.

すごいい!!
Guess what call I received this morning???!! It was from the museum shop saying that one of the photos I submitted got into the top 10!!! (^o^)v
I'm so happy!!! Well, it's only my second time entering a photo competition ok... But perhaps there were only like 20 participants, who knows. Although I know the photo will never get higher than top 10 cos actually it was kinda out of focus. hahah! Anyhow, I'm still happy!!
Congrats to me!!

Mel, tjan and I had lunch at sakae sushi yesterday!! YUM~

Although I downed 21 plates, I'm still not full...

So what should I eat next??

Hahah~ Lunch was so funny. Eating and laughing and eating and laughing. We paid like $17 per person and by 4+ or so, tjan and I got hungry again!!! (>_<) After lunch was camping at the audio suite for our last finishes on our radio food review. It'll be the last assignment we are gonna do using this old PC console...

Anyways, we went to vivo after audio yesterday to check out that doulos ship which will be docked here only till sunday. And BOOST just opened yesterday. Tjan got so high. LOL. The smoothies we got are gooooood!!! (^-^)b Fruit blends are always wonderful~ and what's more, it's a buy one get one free offer!! Lasts till 30 nov! Go be a boostie today!

It's a really nice ship isn't it? So aged and well-sailed. Ths steps up to the ship are not steps but rather rounded bumps which gives you good foot reflexology!! I have a feeling that I could actually capture the whole of the ship end-to-end with this lens.

I actually dl tatta ep 5 and transferred to my thumb for tjan and deleted it off in school. And now, you know what?? It's not in my comp anymore!!!! (>____<)"" I actually did a cut and paste!!! Now gotta dl all over again and wait....
Thank god for quick transfer and broadband.

Anyways, went back to aquafire today. But cos I overslept, I could only stay for about an hour in the office before going for lunch at serangoon. The office has changed so much!!! Now Tania is sitting outside with everyone and her room has been converted to a photo studio. There's even a lightbox thingy for product photography!! I'm thinking of exploiting it already.... And then, that big big film editing machine moved to against the railings beside the alien looking mac. Overall, the office is much more presentable now. hahaha! But that termite infested stairs is still not fixed..
Gotta go back there sometime soon. Or else I can't help Tania with the showreel. Really wanna be part of that production process since I actually helped out in quite some videos there.
Daryl passed me the photos and videos from ron's shoot!!! Finally!! Watching the ron-thanking-us video made me so emo only la!! (T_T)

Media biz used to be the coldest place on earth and now it has become a steaming sauna!! (>__<)::

10th nov was such a LONG day!!
Reached school at 8am, then did audio all the way till lunch and the uni talks. Then had radio production. I have no idea what to ad-lib!! When radio finally ended, rara, mel, zy, tjan and i took 196 to suntec for my birthday dinner!!! That bus ride was loooonnnnngg~ And so we (well... me) decided to go NYDC cos the queue at new york new york was horrendous. Friday night, whadda expect right? NYDC was good!!!! Love the pasta and pizza~~ And the cake!!!
What is birthday without presents right...

First, the dress i got a day before my birthday. I haven't gotten down to ironing though... heee

The cards this year are all so kawaii!!!! Mum's so cute, she made one for me. She and her childcare teacher syndrome. Look at KAME!!!!!!! It's SO SO SO cute la!!! It's legs can actually move!!!! From tjan, nad and mel~ ARIGATO!!!!

The sporty rooster handbag sis got me. I thought she would get the brown one instead, but it ran out of stock. IT'S SO HOT PINK. LOL~ Not that I mind though.

And..... THE LOVELY SHOESSS!!! Nad, tjan and mel actually painted them!!!!! *raburabu*
Notice I actually got a full outfit for birthday? hahah~ Although they don't really go together... Thank you so much everybody!!! For all your wishes and presents!!!

Now onto yesterday.
I woke up SUPER EARLY to accompany dad to doctor for his blood test. Came back and started the dreaded research for the PSA proposal. And I got so tired around noon, and especially with that rain, so I napped. Got woken up by willy's msg, saying the event is at 5pm. And it was 1pm then. So gotta wake up, lunch, bathe and out of the house i went.

When I got to expo hall 3, guess who I saw??!!! Melvin and aloysius!!!! (O.O) I was so suprised! Didn't think I would be seeing familiar faces there, well of course other than cherhan and willy. They were helping to shoot too, so good!!! [well, I can't bloody well expect to shoot with my no-skill skills and camera right... (-_-)] From the very moment I got there, my ass was super glued to the chair. I didn't even have time to pee!! (>_<) There were 2800+ guests at that hitachi staff dinner. Printing was a nightmare!!! And it totally didn't help with all of them swarming around our print station like bees to honey. I was so stressed out!!! The event ended quite well, although some couldnt get their photos.

After unloading at willy's house in sengkang, we headed down to balestier for bak kut teh!!! OMG it's so good I tell you. That meat, that soup, that chilli, that pig's trotters. Oh man~ [but the rice was really bad (@.@)] And that was at 1+am. Bak kut teh at such a time???!!!! I can just go fat and die.

There isn't anything good about today.
It was just a day slugging through PSA proposal.
Oh!! Somehow there's the french and german channel on cable! And another chinese channel. Although we didn't subscribe them. So I decided to watch french tv. It was an interview. I sat there for a good 5 minutes trying to listen and all I could catch was pourquoi. LOL!! So much for french cds. But the french music video was great. Reste avec moi~~

I love acoustic music!!

Do you know that Ben & Jerrys uses a sound refrigeration system to freeze their ice cream?!!

Big day tomorrow!!! I'm always so excited during birthdays. No matter whose birthday it is. Birthdays ought to be fun, memorable and full of suprises. Especially when it's a special age (^-^)

Went to kind of celebrate just now as a family. I initially wanted to eat at Auston's specialities but gotta wait for 45 minutes!! Since we were starving, we went over to hong kong tea house in the end. The food was slightly disappointing though.
But anyway, mum bought me a new dress for my birthday. Maybe I'll wear it for the dinner. Perhaps I will need new heels.

I'm getting crazy brainstorming ideas for the singlecam PSA proposal!!!! (>__<) Is "Please move to the rear of the bus" considered??

We're going to school at 8am tomorrow when lessons start at 2pm???!!!

its been a while

Haven't got the mood to blog recently. But I'm kept busy too with all the things happening this week.
For one, mum and dad has returned. And all the good food have been gobbled down. The only thing is that I haven't found time to go back to aquafire to give shawn his long awaited honey pear tea..

Mel, tjan, nad and I went to katong yesterday to record our radio food review since MEP got cancelled suddenly. And now it seems that KATONG HAS THE BEST FOODS IN TOWN!! And that's a pural cos there's all kinds of yummy stuff down there!!
The hongkong tea house surely serves authentic 雪糕红豆冰!!! (which was actually on the house together with mel's mango ice) I gotta go back for the other stuff!! All the hongkong yummies that I love~~ (^0^)
Then, not far away from the tea house is this gooooooood bak koot teh. It's been so long since I had bak koot teh!!! And awfully chocolate at katong mall also serves horribly chocolate chocolate ice cream. Cho oishii!!! Even for me who don't like chocolate ice cream...

Broadcast today was so hilarious!! I was doing the autocue news presenting and so of cos I was nervous. And therefore stumbled over my words SO MANY TIMES.
".... said the Republicans would come from the behind in the election." mrs nah cracked up causing huimin to have even more serious laughing fits as she was throughout the whole of our presentations, which made nad laugh vigourously and therefore finally distracting me due to the shaking white tudung and made me notice my mistake and collapsed onto the table laughing. And I almost couldn't stop after that. LOL!!!

After this autocue practice I finally know how great a speaker ron is. He can actually follow my speed for the prompter!! (and of cos I had to follow his pace too...) I had problems reading even though I am doing the scrolling for myself!! But of course, ron did not have so much distractions due to all those huge boards cordoning his area. Anything off screen is JUST SO DISTRACTING.

Are we doing anything after school on the 10th of nov??
I am getting legal in.... 2 days!!!

Happy halloween!
Although no one really celebrates it... (>.>)

First single camera production and multimedia and electronic publishing today!! FUN FUN FUN and that's strictly for in class only. Because with this 2 subjects being the most time consuming (or at least so I think now..), the assignments are absolutely crazy! I've haven't even started and they are already driving me nuts! And great news, the first assignment is due on monday. Righto ( -__-)"

I hate 9am lessons.

Tatta episode 3 is simply love. But from the next episode, I'm sure it'll all be teary soppy rabu. And utawara for both 22nd and 29th october are SERIOUS LOVEEEEE!!! (^3^) kyyyaaaaaaaaaaa~ All that fangirling is back!!!
AKAME rabu is da best!!! (^o^) I've actually never noticed how the harmony sounds SO SUPER GREAT in harukana yakusoku!! How is k-ttun ever gonna survive the months without jin's gorgeous voice??!!!! (>__<) Jin jin jin~
