from my professional point of view, here's the couch potato movie critic:

rating: ***1/2
running time: you don't even have time to finish the popcorn and it's over
language: sing-song english
story: isn't the name obvious enough? they have maggots, roaches and skeletons too though.
critic: the songs are funny. good if you like musical-ish movies like me. but way too short.
pro-couchpotato?: positive [makes the lasy potato get up to change to the next movie]

running time: too busy to notice the time - was concentrating on the actors
language: best in cantonese
story: cars zooming away
critic: the actors make up for all the bad stuff.

house of wax
rating: ****
running time: just nice
language: yo wassup english
story: the name says it all again. a house of wax. literally.
critic: paris hilton should have better sense than running around in bra and undies. nice plot though.
pro-couchpotato?: negative [way too tense for couching]

premonition
rating: **1/2
running time: kinda draggy
language: japaneseee
story: knowing the next day's paper's headline. for the tragedies that is.
critic: wrong choice of male lead. makes you cautious of the newspaper the next day.
pro-couchpotato?: negative [you want to cover your eyes most of the time as the male lead is really scary looking]

my boyfriend is type B
rating: ***1/2
running time: doesn't matter
language: korean
story: B blood boyfriends are real baddies
critic: prejudice against B blood males. tsk tsk [FYI: kame has B blood]
pro-couchpotato?: positive [a real good laugh]

the cool guy [aka he was cool]
rating: ****
running time: just long enough not to make you die from dehydration - from drooling
language: (vulgar?) korean
story: a really CUTE bully and that's all that matters
critic: song seung hoon is way too cute!! he looks young. worth watching over and over

perhaps love
rating: ***1/2
running time: not long enough to bore you
language: a chinese, cantonese, english salad
story: ex lovers acting out their love story
critic: low budget film? why does the korean guy take like 4 roles?! takeshi kaneshiro looks so cute in that nerd role
pro-couchpotato?: positive [you won't sleep even while watching it at 2am - which is what i did]
