PHOTOS from 10 Nov!!

I'm kinda lazy to upload photos here XDD The rest are here. Sorry for the chinese... heh.
Anyways, it was really great!!! EVERYTHING!! From breakfast to depressing movie to cheesecakes to dinner and drinks and cheesecake again and everything else!!!! <3
And this year is rather special cos it's my birthday TWO DAYS IN A ROW!! 10th Nov is my birthday of cos and 11th Nov turned out to be my lunar birthday!!! What a coincidence!! Not that I actually celebrate my lunar birthday. But it's nice to know~ (and more reason to slack XP)
LOVE EVERYBODYYYY!!!! (^3^)

Anyways, guess where I went today?? I bet the WHOLE WORLD except mel, since we went together, will not be able to guess it!!!
*drumroll*....... NATIONAL LIBRARY!!!!! *cue everyone faints* WHAHAHA!!! (^o^)
Suprising isn't it?! Well, it was because mel needed to look for newspaper archives after the recce. NEWSPAPER ARCHIVES ARE SO DAMN COOL!!!!! Seeing her play with the reels of film, I went to search for articles for St Andrew's Cathedral too!! Although it was more of wanna play with the film than anything else... I couldn't find anything in the end anyway.
Today was the very first time I set foot there. The national library is quite a nice place actually. Real quiet unlike other libraries. A nice place to study since it's like soooo cold and there are power plugs at every table for lappie. Maybe I can go there to study for exams next time.

This is the funky machine thing used to view the film reels!!! The putting in of the reel is rather complicated but the library staff was really nice to do it for us. The staff there is really great I must add, they helped mel to search for everything she wanted and were like super patient and friendly (^-^) The library's collection is sooooo HUGEEEEE!

The Straits Times in 1939. Robinson's existed in Singapore at that time already!!

The Straits Times in 1942. And that's a ketchup advertisement.

Hazeline has been invented already too!

And I thought Osram is some lousy brand that came up only last year... (>__<)
The ads in the papers are sooooo interesting!!!

The IDD phone bill finally came in the post today. Grand total of $53.35, thank you.
I got cheated!!!! The last time I checked the website for 1516 (the IDD service), it was $0.05/min during off peak hours! And now, it turns out to be $0.10/min for mobile lines!!! That's double the price mind you. Oh wells, it's still worth it.
