This is so freaky. Twice already! TWICE!
The last time at freo when it was all dark, 2 young cyclists.
This time at northbridge under broad daylight, 1 middle-aged man.
Do you know who scary it is for a girl who is all alone on foreign land to be approached by men who are way taller and bigger trying to strike up weird conversation in hopes of getting your number and have a coffee together 'one day'?!! Thank goodness there were so many people on the streets today and it was SO BRIGHT. If it was this man instead of the cyclists that night, I think I would cry and be stuck to the ground.

I am getting scared about going out alone AT ALL. It is so terrifying! I used to think like how dangerous can this place get? So what if they are huge, so what if they are drunk, so what if they might be mad. But seriously, when normal sane people approach you, it is way more scary than it might seem. Thankfully these two times are still considerably alright, I wasn't hurt, just traumatised. What if next time they snatch my bag, or stick out a knife or whatever thing else. Seriously they can do anything at all, I'm hardly half their size!!

I need to learn some self defence skills, it's not everyday I carry an umbrella.
Karate? Taekwondo? Judo? Kick boxing? .... yoga?

I need someone to protect me.
